| Ravi Kumar (Mithun Chakraborty) is the younger brother of Judge Sumitra Devi (Smita Patil) and Mohan Kumar (Arun Govil). He and his sister have different views and ideas. They lack understanding and that is why he decides to live apart from his sister. Raghu (Gulshan Grover) is the son of MLA Raj Shekhar (Pran). He marries Kamla (Supriya Pathak), the daughter of a poor man Ganesh (Dr. Shreeram Lagoo) with a view to take political advantage. But things go wrong and Kamla is killed by Raghu. Now, MLA Raj Shekhar makes different attempts to save his son from law whose case is being tried in the court of Judge Sumitra Devi.
