The style is named Diwan as they were generally found in the chambers of councils of the Moguls. These Diwan sofas picked up in fashion across Europe in 1820s. They are a common style for seating in Turkish coffee shops.

This diwan is made from teak wood and will last for years with minimal maintenance. All the borders and trims had carving in traditional style.
