This movie is a story of Major Ram Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan), a military man on a mission to protect the daughter of the General (Amrit Rao), from Pakistani terrorist (Sunil Shetty). What begins as a mission, ends up as a full circle journey, for Ram, whose long lost half brother attends the same college as the general's daughter. To add to the dimension of drama and complication, Ram finds himself falling, head over heels, in love with his chemistry teacher (Sushmita Sen).
